The Goldberger variations ...
The Promenade des Anglais in Nice is the scene, until March 22, of the exhibition "Crossed Portraits": a remarkably creative and often hilarious mix where the great classics of yesteryear and contemporary take on the faces and forms of artists of all kinds.
Under the lens of photographer Sacha Goldberger, Mathieu Chedid, Guillaume de Tonquédec, Irène Frain, Caroline Vigneaux and many others lend their features to a series of portraits that pay homage to everything that can thrill the passer-by: cinema, theater , literature, poetry, comics, music, photography...
I intentionally did not indicate the names of the artists who lent themselves to the exercise on the following photos. I'll let you guess them and let me know in the comments!

Sacha Goldberger is a French photographer born in 1968. For 14 years, he has been producing and directing, with teams that can include several dozen assistants, photo series worthy of film productions. The Secret Eden series, for example, required the collaboration of 130 people, over a period of 3 years, and resulted in the creation of 17 diptychs from different periods and 50 portraits.
During the Covid crisis, in 2020, and in reaction to the unfortunate phrase which described culture as a "non-essential profession", Sacha Goldberger and his collaborators produced "Crossed Portraits".
