Normandy Impressionnist 2024

The next edition of Normandy Impressionist will take place from March to September 2024. This 5th edition will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first Impressionist exhibition which took place at Nadar's studio in Paris in 1874.

An additional reason to take part in a preview of the trip organized by Art, History and Conferences from May 12 to 14, in the footsteps of Claude Monet and his impressionist friends in Normandy.

Fabrice Roy had been selected to participate in 2010 in the first edition of this extraordinary festival with performances of his play "Impressionists!" in Giverny, Grand-Quevilly and Pacy-sur-Eure.

The festival will cover a set of major exhibitions throughout its duration and will also be punctuated by key moments, highlighting other disciplines (dance, music, theatre, opera, cinema, circus, etc.), several “Nights Normandy Impressionist” covering a long weekend or a week: opening nights, closing nights and the possibility of two other nights during the festival period, depending on the proposals.

In his art history lectures, Fabrice Roy combines the past with the present, in a poetic and playful evocation of the French 19th century...
